Rich Sturm
Hall of Fame Manager/Coach Class of 2025
Rich has been the head baseball coach at Oakville High School since 2003. During those 22 years, he compiled a record of 316-205 and one tie. In 2010, his Tigers finished fourth at the Missouri State Tournament. A five-time Conference Coach of the Year, Sturm won three consecutive district championships and back-to-back sectional titles.
Prior to becoming varsity head coach, Sturm was an assistant coach of Oakville ’s junior varsity and freshman teams. Over 80 of Sturm’s players received college baseball scholarships and three players were drafted by Major League baseball teams.
As a player, Rich was a standout infielder at Oakville, playing for his father, Rich Sturm Sr., who was head coach of the varsity Tigers for 17 seasons. His father was inducted into the St. Louis Amateur Baseball Hall of Fame in 2015.
After graduating from Oakville High, Sturm played infield for Westminster College.
