Darin Scott
Hall of Fame Manager/Coach Class of 2025
Darin has coached the Lindbergh High School Flyers since 2002. During his 23 years, he has won more than 330 games and finished fourth in the Missouri State Tournament (2016 and 2022), and led the Flyers to five district championships, one sectional title, two quarterfinal finishes and four Suburban West Conference championships. He was named conference Coach of the Year four times. In 2004, Scott was named St. Louis Umpires Association Coach of the Year.
Many of Scott’s players went on to play college ball and four players signed pro contracts, including Josh Outman, who pitched in the majors for Oakland, Colorado, Cleveland and the New York Yankees. He also coached at Springfield, Missouri at Hillcrest High School and for the Hillcrest American Legion teams.
Scott played baseball at Labette Community College in Parsons, Kansas and for the University of Missouri at St. Louis, where he helped the Rivermen to the College World Series in 1006. Scott is actively working to promote St. Louis High School baseball through player awards, recognition and local media.
