Steve Garrow
Hall of Fame Player Class of 2019
Garrow was a strong right-handed pitcher in the Eastern Missouri Baseball Association for eight years. In 1980, he was a member of the C&H Travelers team that won the Metro-Collegiate League title. He pitched for O’Fallon in 1979 and was on went on to play for the St. Paul’s team for six years in the 1980s. He helped St. Paul’s advance to the EMBA Little World Series.
In the 1970sGarrow pitched for Fort Zumwalt High School and Wentzville American Legion Post 323. Wentzville won the American Legion District title both years Garrow was on the team, earning all-star status.
In later years, he played for Bogarts in the CYC Major League. He pitched ion the Men’s Senior Baseball League for the Sharks and Bud Light. He spent three years with the Sharks and 10 years for Bud Light. During that time, he was an all-star pitcher and he also won the MSBL batting title.
Garrow was a successful amateur baseball coach in the St. Louis area for more than 10 years.
