Scott Cepicky

Scott Edward Cepicky is a former professional baseball player who primarily played as a first baseman and outfielder. Born on July 29, 1966, in St. Louis, Missouri, he bats left-handed and throws right-handed. He stands at 6 feet 4 inches and weighs 220 pounds.
Cepicky attended St. John Vianney High School in Kirkwood, Missouri, and later the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where he played both baseball and football. In baseball, he was a two-time All-Big Ten member in 1988 and 1989.
He was drafted by the Chicago White Sox in the 23rd round of the 1989 MLB June Amateur Draft. Cepicky played in the minor leagues from 1989 to 1994, reaching Triple-A in 1993. Over his six minor league seasons, he accumulated a batting average of .267 with 56 home runs and 357 RBIs in 637 games. He won a batting title in South Bend, Indiana, and was named MVP of the Florida State League. He also made All-Star teams in the Midwest and Florida State Leagues in 1990 and 1991. Additionally, he played in the Venezuelan Baseball Leagues, where he earned MVP, Home Run, and RBI titles.
