Faron was a right-handed pitcher with the St. Louis Cardinals farm system between 1986 and 1989. In 1986, he pitched 23 consecutive winning games for the Johnson City Cardinals and ranks third on the all-time list for most victories in a single season.

Bob has been pitching for the Bud Light team since 2004. In 2006, he pitched a seven-inning perfect for the Bud Light team. He has spent 15 years coaching little league baseball teams and has also coached the Creve Coeur American Legion team.
