Former Mathews-Dickey Boys Club director of the RBI program (Reviving Baseball in Inner Cities). Distinguished himself in career through 1987 in which his Mathews-Dickey Knights won two Meinie championships, four in the Bell Leagues and three Tandy titles. Knights were state semipro runners-up in 1970 and champions in '73, both times representing Missouri at Wichita's NBC tournament. Knights took Afro American title in 1977 and Tournament of Champions in 1979.
