Bill was the head baseball coach at Owensville High School for 25 years. He was inducted into the Missouri High School Baseball Coaches Association Hall of Fame in 2001, and the National Sunbelt Hall of Fame in 2011.

Seamon is a charter member of the National High School Baseball Coaches Association, is a contributing writer for their publications and gives talks at baseball clinics and events. He has authored a book titled, “The Coaches Playbook,” which details how to develop a philosophy for coaching baseball.
