"Milly" Roth was strongly considered for induction as a player. His considerable talents as a player were overshadowed by his tremendous contributions to baseball. A lefthanded hitter with remarkable ability to put the ball in play, Roth played on five City Championship clubs, The Natural Set-Ups, Gebken-Benz, St. Louis Post Office, Keller Drug and Die, and Arnold's. After his brilliant playing career, Roth participated in the growth of the Concord Village Khoury League from 1955 to 1978. He served as President, Secretary, Chairman of the Lighting Committee, and the Executive Board and their efforts resulted in eight excellent playing fields, Roth also managed and coached in the Concord Village Khoury League for nine years He is a recipient of the prestigious Khoury League Meritorious Service Award as well as the Concord Village Khoury Award for service to the league.
