Hall of Fame Manager/Coach Class of 2013

Lee was the varsity baseball coach at Marissa High School in Illinois for 32 years. The athletic field at Marissa was renamed Schulte Field in 1980. In 1983, Lee was inducted into the Illinois High School Baseball Coaches Hall of Fame. Two years later, he was inducted into the Freeburg High School Sports Hall of Fame, and in 1986, Schulte was voted into the Illinois Coaches Association and Mon-Clair League Halls of Fame.

In later years, Lee supervised the construction of baseball fields at Marissa, Red Bud, Sparta and Centralia High Schools.
