From 1993 to 1999, Ken was the head baseball coach at Affton High School. That final season, he was named Suburban East Coach of the Year after his Affton team captured the conference and district championships.

In 2012, Ken was honored by the State of Missouri for his 19 years of service and dedication to the Affton School District. Weissflug was assistant superintendent of the district until he retired in 2012. Ken coached Johnny Mac’s Freshman SLABA team, and youth teams in Imperial, Arnold, Manchester and Valley Park, Missouri.
