A right-handed pitching ace for 19 years for Creve Coeur, Faron pitched two no-hit games in the powerful St. Louis County League during that span. Two of his Creve Coeur clubs won St. Louis County league titles, and one other was a runner-up. After his playing days, Faron managed in the Khoury League in Creve Coeur for 23 years where his teams won five championships including the Missouri-Illinois title in 1966. He was also an activist in the construction of the Creve Coeur baseball field.
