“Dinty” Moore is best remembered as a high scoring soccer star, but he also possessed the same outstanding qualities as a fiery infielder in some of the higher level Muny Leagues for more than 30 years. “Dinty” batted right while playing second and short for such outstanding teams as Hip A.C., Golub Shoe, Weick Undertakers, Hoffmeister’s, CSMAC, and others. Moore is the perennial activist who dedicated his life to sports. He has been involved for more than 50 years. Much of his time was devoted to baseball at CSMAC, St. Thomas of Aquinas, and St. Anthony of Padua. He is a classic example of a Christian gentleman, and a baseball and soccer Hall of Famer.
