Travis, an infielder, starred with St. Margaret of Scotland from 1933 in a career through 1946, playing with city amateur champions for the Natural Setups, the Kellers and Post Office teams. He was All-State for Missouri in the National Semi-pro Baseball Congress in 1940 and with Fort Monmouth, N.J., in 1946.<br><br>
